In an unspecified near future, humanity seems to have finally solved their own problems: there are no more wars or social unrest or crime. Life, in large as in small towns, runs quiet and tidy, people seem happy. After millennia of history, man has finally learned to live with his fellows? Not at all. At a closer look, there are human beings who inhabit now, in large part, the planet. Those eyes, the iris of an unnatural shade of green, betray the truth: the Earth has been the subject of a silent alien invasion, with sentient beings (the “Anime”) who have settled in the bodies of men, appropriating their memories. The few remaining humans, hunted and always in danger, they live outside the city, organized into small cells of resistance. Yet, not always the individual host dies, once the parasite has appropriated his body some time, his consciousness remains in there, imprisoned. It ‘s the case of the young Melanie, who strongly opposes the presence, inside his body, being called Wayfarer. But Walker, exploring the memories of Melanie, she discovers the attachment of the latter to his brother Jamie, and her love for her boyfriend Jared.
