The film begins presenting to Sofia, a girl living in an orphanage and suffer from insomnia. One night discovers a giant who takes her to the land of the giants. She thinks she is going to eat, but not because he is good. He speaks in a similar way to Jar Jar Binks, although sometimes it is pleasing to the ear.
