The promised her the Count, a cousin of the king, to lure them into the woods, where his allies, the wicked witch, gold hair covered with a curse. The girl disappeared, the Count moved to the location of the heir and the unsuspecting king in his anger cursed the Christmas star that went out in the sky. It predicted the regent that he will have ten years to recover, and then to be able to include his daughter in the arms of the star.
